It has ever been true. Republicans on the national ticket have never been able to win on merit. Their platforms have always been predicated on hate and fear. Always. Except for two Republican Govs here in MA who weren't complete reprobates, most Republicans have been vile. This iteration is extreme.

I have never stopped saying this. It's been happening for decades but Evil has shifted it into high gear. We must do everything we can to stop it, to remove this Evil menace and all it stands for along with its enablers and hangers-on from our government and our lives. We can be the change we need.
