I strongly believing Dems leadership still treat confronting Trump 2nd term as same as his 1st term.

Dems need new leadership that knows the party needs to act as the opposition in congress.

Like the Southern White loving welfare, but hating it when they have to share with others.

Also, GOP wasn't the only one blocking FDR's New Deal effort.

If he was fine by his own opinion what Dick Cheney & David Addington did (I know he wasn't Senator yet), unsurprising if Warner finding Trump's approach on this somewhat acceptable.

“If he pleads guilty, he's not a pedophile.”

That's just teaser for them defending Trump if he admits.

Party of ‘family’ value doesn't count multifamily housing is the same party claiming ‘pro-life’ DGAF after babies are born.

Trump 1.0 still has constraints.

Trump 2.0 is a trainwreck.
November 13, 2025 at 9:21 PM
If Dems is fully functional opposition party, it will not cave & keep blaming the GOP for making people in misery until GOP is the one imploding & cave.

So, they hope Boebert flip the votes on Epstein Files right?
November 12, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Ohio will deceiving us again unless total collapse of GOP base turnout just like what happened in GA in recent election.
November 12, 2025 at 9:12 PM
To conclude it, it's a sloppy authoritarian but still leaving deep cratered damages that will take a long time for full recovery.

Can't believe that sandwich scandal ruining his political prospect for years.

Is it me or part of article reminding me closer where Reform UK standing now?

Also, the guy being interviewed is ex-JCP? Is Reiwa too pro-establishment for him?

The problem here is any party being too personalist will be quickly crumbled once the figures gone or faded.

Shumer fails to act as opposition leader in the Senate.

Such crucial vote with GOP refuses to include main inputs from Dems is supposed to have all Dems + Angus King to hold the line.

In parliamentary system, there will be instant revolt to oust the opposition leader along with whip chief.

Something, something like consumerism & privilege?

I guess it's also thug life returning to the year where TPPA (now as CPTPPA) still a major discussion.
November 10, 2025 at 9:21 PM
He definitely referring to Angus King comment.

Kinda ballsy for him telling liberal/progressive viewers that fighting against Trump didn't work when GOP suffered huge defeat election days ago.

It would be less annoying if they admitting want to go home celebrating Thanksgiving rather than lying what they just voted for.

They claim ACA extension included when it's just promise of a vote that will be held later, or maybe not.
November 10, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Yes, Dems should be open about GOP being stubborn as long as government isn't reopened.

But, that means keeping pointing out & blaming the GOP.

Shaheen, Hassan & King mainly don't understand what opposition party is.
November 10, 2025 at 4:12 PM
Part of me thinking those defend 8 Senators caving don't know what actual opposition party behaves.

Opposition only agrees with ruling party/coalition when their important inputs genuinely included.

What the vote promised isn't ACA extension but a separate vote for that might happen (or maybe not)
November 10, 2025 at 8:13 AM
why not just keep pointing out the GOP that they love people suffer with higher premium to pay.

Dems isn't just a minority, it's also in opposition. That's how opposition works.
November 10, 2025 at 8:03 AM
This is clear a coordinated movement to primary those incumbents is the answer.
