Yup, base-8 out the window.
Started off with OS/2 V2 and got to V4 (Warp), but eventually couldn't ignore the writing on the wall and then it was onto WIN NT through WIN11.
I like what I've seen sofar of Linux, just haven't had the time yet ...
Day job is on z/OS (MVS) - now there's a REAL operating system!
