All of these "where's the money for that going to come from?" Questions could be answered by
1) taxing the rich appropriately
2) if we cut out military budget by half we'd still be the most expensive military in the world
3) cut ICE funding by 100%

The US economy was at it's strongest when the richest people faced a 94% tax rate on their most extreme wealth, in no small part due to the fact that it incentivised higher pay for workers as well as put more money for social programs into the government

Billionaires achieved their wealth by severely underpaying the people who work under them who are actually generating the wealth, while they use their investments as collateral to spend on whatever they want ad nauseum while their employees struggle to afford basic necessities. Fuck them.

Introducing police psychiatrists so there's emergency mental help available // other departments of police for other, various emergency situations that don't necessarily require law and enforcement, etc

merely for the gratuitous violence and spectacle. For me it was an absolute snooze fest (not aided by the fact that I watched season 1 during the LONG wait for season 2, so long that I felt the need to rewatch season 1 and I've failed to maintain interest 4 times)

Not trolling, the pacing in that shows story has stopped me from watching because GOOD storytelling gives answers that make you ask more questions. AoT just piles on questions while hoping you'll stay
