Why are people talking about wanting to die to relieve the burden on your family as if it's an illegitimate reason. If I'm dying within 4 months anyway, not putting greater financial, emotional or physical burden on my wife or daughter feels like a final act of love.

Whenever I hear most Labour ministers speak I feel like they've spent the last decade with their fingers in their ears shouting"La La La". Why are they still speaking like it's 2008! They're going to get the fucking fash elected because they are allergic to being relatable or not even likable

Is anyone discussing what the wedge issues on the right are Labour can start ruthlessly building a narrative around? I feel like going full Mao on water companies and treating their bosses and shareholders very poorly, in a very public fashion, is a goer.

If I were an ancient Egyptian diety, my test for entry into the afterlife would be, when at the tills, whether or not you let the person with one or two items go ahead of you when you have a trolley full

Please someone do one of these but for Ed Davey falling off a paddle board or riding on a tractor or whatever.

A wrinkle I don't see mentioned when people discuss leaving twitter the creator program and high concentration of Nazis means you're essentially contributing to someone being paid to write about how Hitler was right. There's a kind of a moral imperative to boycott companies that finance Nazis

Black Myth: Wukong absolutely reeks of being a game you'll never hear anyone mention again in a week's time.

Depressed by Labours response to the riots so far. Seen no attempt to define how we got to the point of lynch mobs hunting out minorities to attack, and no real plan to sketch out a way out of this mess. No vision of a unifying, progressive message. Just look at the Dems in the US for contrast.

I can't help but think Social Network Fragmentation is an unalloyed good for many reasons, one of which is it will be harder for lazy journos to create a "narrative" out of nothing but mocking retweets onto their Social media feed.

This app is good but it's missing that 'X' factor (random videos of dreadful industrial accidents plastered across my feed against my will and 12 million teenaged fascists I'm forced to interact with).

I still can't quite get over the amount of people streamed themselves and their mates rioting the other week.

Anyone aware of any good "starter packs" to follow for football, gaming and infosec?

Fed up with the "feel sorry for truss" takes. Anyone pranking her while she's out there trying to rake in money and launder her reputation is doing a public service. The ability for political/media figures to fail time and again and still hang around like a bad smell is bad for the country!

Is a lot of the hand-ringing about "echo chambers" really necessary? Even before it became a 24/7 hate rally the old place hardly promoted valuable discussion/disagreement. It was always about finding the least sympathetic person making the worse version of an argument to take in bad faith.
