73 years young; US Navy Vietnam veteran & "nuke" 1970 - 1977; antifascist Democrat; dedicated opponent of the trump Nazi regime & its agenda; retired in 2013; married to same gal since 11/11/78; have 4 adult kids & 5 grandkids; live in Southern California.
Four LATINO men (my dad 2nd from left) all American born citizens whose parents came from Mexico, served bravely in WWII unlike any in the trump family. Two were in Navy, my dad was an Army Sherman tank commander & one uncle was a former tanker who transferred to paratroopers. All survived WWII.

My dad was an Army Sherman tank commander in WWII who saw combat in the Pacific also against the Japanese. He, his crew and his tank survived the war. However, he passed away in 1997 so at least he never knew of trump, who he would've hated.

Interesting to see the term Frequent Wind, as most people do not know what that was. I took part in Operation Frequent Wind, evacuation of Saigon, in April 1975. Here is a picture of my ship USS Enterprise CVN 65, and me aboard, returning from Operation Frequent Wind. We brought back the helos used.
