I'm not condoning anything. Killing anyone is awful. I'm saying words matter, that one side is an oppressor and one side is oppressed, and that we shouldn't misuse language to misconstrue that.

Settlers are one aspect of the occupation and the entire apartheid state. I doubt a single article can fully elucidate every aspect of that, it was simply and example.

I didn't say anything about punishment, collective or otherwise. I just tire of the "no-ethical actions under X" arguments used to justify that "average" Israeli citizens don't actively participate in opposition, when they do by design.
