Leery of Linux Mint after it formatted a partition marked to be left alone during an install.

I'd recommend against Manjaro: tried it for awhile but after two separate times it got itself messed up and needed a complete reinstall, I dropped it.
Not familiar with Garuda or Pop!_OS.
Like Arch, but definitely not for casual user.
