Ok so this is an interesting phenomenon. I could’ve sworn George Santos died in prison in the 80s. I remember learning this in elementary school.
Following his release from federal prison, ex-Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) says he would like to devote his life to prison reform.

Santos said he spent nearly half of his time in solitary confinement, an experience he said was dehumanizing.
