Because of what I consider a flaw in the Bluesky web interface I can’t tell exactly which post you’re replying to. Ergo I’ll guess. I am not writing off SFA yet. I am withholding judgment. I will grant that it is already better than Discovery! That’s a very low bar though. We shall see.

I *hope* you’re right. I’ve watched two well intentioned Star Trek inheritor series self destruct and implode from bad writing, worse direction, and fundamental misunderstanding of what Trek is about. I’ve watched the first 3 episodes so far and I’m… not convinced but still hopeful let’s say.

I *hope* you’re right. I’ve watched two well intentioned Star Trek inheritor series self destruct and implode from bad writing, worse direction, and fundamental misunderstanding of what Trek is about. I’ve watched the first 3 episodes so far and I’m… not convinced but still hopeful let’s say.
I am hugely a fan of Bab 5. It is one of the most sophisticated productions of science fiction ever made for the “small screen”. Well worth anyone’s time.

Sadly, no one in America (outside of the far right MAGA crowd) will or can trust the veracity of *anyone* in the Trump administration. This includes the DOJ and, especially, Keystone Kash’s FBI. They will lie if their master demands it.

They should but they won’t. The Dems have hunkered down into an almost totally submissive stance these days. One of the many reasons I’m still an Independent.

Apparently, the Trump regime has decreed that conquest is now an acceptable form of diplomacy. I’ve no love for Maduro but this move is so far beyond The Pale as to sink into the Atlantic under the shear weight of its hypocrisy.
