I find it out of order that the woman at the check out in farm foods asked the customer if he'd been here long. He didn't answer so she repeated it Twice
Clearly racist
The guy was maybe of Eritrean or somaili descent (I'm guessing)
Barking orders at him "put your pin in!"

Asking for education here. Resistant starches when you reheat pasta a day or two later are supposed to be very good for you. Is it the same when you make toast? Is toasting bread creating a super food?

Just finished listening to Frank Cottrell Boyce's "framed" in the car. Found it in the local library and loved the references to real existing artworks. Kids loved the ninja turtles references. Kind of sad it's finished.

Shout out to all the parents desperately trying to avoid buying new uniform in this last 7 weeks. Today we had a shirt with a rip, yesterday was stained by tomato pasta sauce, friday grass stained. Add to that worn through toes in the shoes and they're starting to echo a vagrant look....

Nothing as sobering about how little life admin you do as when an app (this time Duolingo) suggests you add friends from your contacts and out of 67, only maybe 20 are names you recognise and more importantly it can see people you've blocked. Which means they can see you. 😱

I wish that all @nationaltrust.bsky.social properties put families at the centre like Sudbury (or attingham in the summer). Far too many are still only focused on the grey £ and forget that families are the patrons of the future. We want to preserve history but engage our kids

Discovered the wind had tried to relocate the greenhouse. Had to take half the panes out to be able to manoeuvre it back. Must cement it in.
