Grading lab reports from a lab you thought was a mess and that all you'd done was confuse all the students, then seeing that they did in fact get it and were doing great work. What a rush.

Some positive news in the world is really welcome. And amazing to see the many decades of public investment into biotechnology worldwide bearing fruit with a gene therapy against this horrible disease.
Huntington's disease has been successfully treated for the first time following positive results from a global clinical trial, on which Professor Sarah Tabrizi FRS of UCL's Huntington's Disease Centre was lead scientific advisor:
