It had been used to promote hate in NI for more than a century though I don’t recall outrage by GB citizens, particularly with its presentation alongside proscribed organisations. It’s a bit late / rich expressing discomfort now.

In NI, flags fly freely, particularly those of proscribed organisations with no removals, sometimes police watch them being erected. Though we do arrest pensioners wearing T-shirts that support other proscribed organisations. Classic Animal Farm alive and well in our patch.
