The 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique is a quick, practical way to calm panic and anxiety by bringing your attention back to the present moment. By focusing on your senses, your body gets the signal that you’re safe right now, helping slow racing thoughts and ease intense feelings.

This Holiday Season we want you to make sure you have consent at all time.
Make sure it is freely given, on going and enthusiastic .

If you don't have consent or if someone revokes consent you must respect this and stop.

🎉 Holiday Parties & Consent. As the festive season begins, it’s important to remember that consent always matters —at every party, every gathering, every time. Sexual consent means asking, listening & respecting the answer, no matter what it is. A “no,” a “not sure,” or even silence is never a “yes”

Human Rights Day! As the 16 Days end, we’re reminded that women’s rights are human rights. GBV remains one of the most widespread human rights violations, rooted in inequality & discrimination. Today & every day, we stand with survivors & work toward a Scotland where all can live free from violence

💜 16 Days of Activism 💜

Minority ethnic women and girls often face extra barriers to safety — from lack of understanding and language support to fear of judgement or discrimination.

Every survivor deserves to be heard, believed, and supported with dignity. 💜

💜 16 Days of Activism 💜

Women and girls face greater risks of violence and barriers to support — especially in rural areas.

Building safer communities means joined-up action so every woman can access safety, dignity, and support. 💜

Nearly half of the world's women and girls—1.8 billion—have no legal protection from digital violence.

As cyberstalking, gendered disinformation, and AI-driven deepfakes escalate—increasing the risks women and girls face online—laws have failed to keep pace.

This is unacceptable.

VAWG is one of the most common & devastating traumatic experiences, with lasting impacts on mental health and wellbeing. Embedding lived experience meaningfully & safely requires trauma-informed, compassionate approaches — but it’s essential to building systems that truly meet survivors’ needs.
December 5, 2025 at 7:30 AM
VAWG deeply affects wellbeing — especially for young people, who often face barriers to accessing support and recovery.
Over half of students who’ve experienced sexual assault or harassment say it happened on campus, and 1 in 6 women in Scotland has experienced online violence.
