I thought they were important and hated that the films ignored them. They showed that all places were affected by the war, and did not cover up the ongoing impacts it has. I thought it was beautiful and I sob my heart out when they get to the Grey Havens. X

We had a swimming pool in the back garden and all the neighbourhood kids came to play in it. (It was an old fitted cast iron bath that my dad saved from a skip)

Love, love, love!!! Cabin Pressure. I still refer to BC as "Mar-tan DuCrief" from Cabin Pressure. Allan's portrayal of the Douglas Richardson character is sublime.

One reason I felt I was making the right choice when moving to my current location was the inclusion of the trans gender symbols on the toilets at the local Tesco and motorway services. Might sound silly, but as it is a fairly rural location, this said something to me.

What is weird is that just seeing the image on the screen was enough for my brain to retreive the song that went with it.

I didnt realise this was another issue I had! My gma bought me up to always use things, after living through in the blitz and losing all the things kept for 'best'. Never appreciated that I do this with experiences. Books, days out, places to visit, etc.
