Listen... we got one of those flip style belgian waffle makers aaaaages ago now and that thing is both still kicking and one of my favorite appliances. It was some off-brand one somewhere in the $30 range, but black and decker has one at about that price that looks similar. Worth it imo!

Focaccia is SUCH a good place to start, it's super easy to get something that tastes incredible even if it's not perfect. Naan is also super beginner friendly. Sourdough SCARES me though.
