I'm embarrassed as a Utahn that we voted for an independent commission to redraw the map just to have it entirely ignored. They played a political game with my vote, fully knowing it didn't matter what the voting outcome would be.

I don't know what's worse, the fact that I know exactly what you are taking about or that it could be any number of things.
Either way, I'm embarrassed and furious.

I live in Utah, and we've had mail in ballots for a long while. Used to be we were proud of it, even to the point of bragging about how well it worked. This is an entirely different republican party now than I grew up with.
