That would definitely be better. It's a bit abstract for players in the moment though. I like the idea of 3 points being up for grabs each game. I think there would be more of a battle end of the third.

3 points for a regulation win. 2 for overtime win. 1 for OT loss. Easy solution. Would also make playoff races way more exciting.

They didn't understand that the refs can put away the whistles for some teams but not them sometimes and that they have to be tough but also not lose. Sports is hard.

That's why everyone should become the Panthers now, except when the refs whistles are out. You want them put away when your team is doing the bad things. It's all about timing!

The league has convinced themselves that skill does not matter because sometimes the refs "put their whistles away" or whatever...
