The Knives Out trilogy is genuinely a 3/3 in terms of quality between each movie. I love that the series doesn’t hold itself to older mysteries where the goal is to make an arrest by the end. It’s fully about the mystery and watching the process.

Not just that, but a realtor had done the math using a $400k home at today’s rates and by the time you get to 50 years you’ll have paid nearly $1.8 million as opposed to the actual price. It’s more realistic to assume you’ll die before you ever pay that mortgage off.

HexPal in the original 5e was pretty much seen as the original encounter ender most of the time. Especially if you didn’t want to focus on strength as your main combat ability.

My mind immediately equates the difference with car dealerships. You go to Toyota and you know what you’re buying, how much and if it’s in good condition. At a used car lot you can look into a dozen different places and still end up getting scammed on something you thought you had a good deal on.

Same thing with the Alzheimer’s Reddit posting the same Garfield comic for years. It ruins the joke if people try to get meta about it.
