This appears to be a very well written and researched book of non-fiction considering the default state of Ohio.

The oddest accent for me was a blend. Native Japanese speaker who spoke fluent English with a solid UK accent… or plausibly HK ABC ed. They were absolutely intelligible, no questioning that, but the blend of accents threw me for a loop.

美味。At least that was the name I remember it as. Yakiniku, but to me what made the place were their soups. The place closed in the aftermath of the mad cow scare, I think. The owner apparently moved and reopened at one point, but I found out in 2021 and he died in 2019. Still can’t copy the soup.
