Our final proclamation of the week comes from Mount Laurel, New Jersey. I did promise Mayor Nik Moustakas that we would mention that Mt. Laurel was the first community to commit to issuing a public proclamation recognizing Transgender Day of Visibility.

2016: there was outrage when NC passed a bathroom bill. There were protests. The NBA even moved the allstar weekend to a different state. Nine years later, we've got bathroom bills all over. They claim rapists will pretend to be trans in order to access the women's facilities.

Forgot to post yesterday...

Great opportunity to speak with the Jewish Family and Children's Service - JFCS of Southern New Jersey Aging with Pride group this afternoon about our Transgender Day of Visibility goals.

What a fantastic and positive response! Such encouragement.

We are asking local towns for proclamations or resolutions recognizing Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31st. We're speaking at town council meetings - standing up both literally and figuratively and being active citizens in our communities where we live, work, shop, and dine. YOU CAN TOO!

My ex did my hair with some product to emphasize the curls and control the frizz. Thoughts?

This outfit looked better in my mind. Thankfully, it's only for work and an xray after work

Here we go.... including a picture of me in the waiting room at the doctors office this morning while I still have healthcare.

We're in this together.

Don't believe me? Go read the text of the anti-trans executive order that calls for the government to ignore and reopen Bostock v. Clayton County. You know, the Supreme Court case that offers legal protection from discrimination for LGBTQIA+ folx.

I had to run into the market to get some quick lunch supplies. Apparently, the handles on these cloth bags need a little help!

Every year, I cry a little harder than the previous year. Someday, we will not need this day. I hope.

My typical Friday evening... I go to synagogue, and I love how my Jewish community not only supports my LGBTQ+community, but stands side by side.
