Remembering my favorite Thanksgiving customer of all time: Maybe 10 years ago, older guy came in saying "I need THANKSGIVING wine!" Couldn't get any other info out of him, he just kept repeating that, but when I asked how much he wanted to spend, "I DON'T GIVE A SH*T, IT'S CHEAPER THAN A DIVORCE!"

Tim Kaine, I kind of liked you when I lived in Virginia and you were governor, but you've lost your damn spine and lost your damn mind. Glad my Maryland senators have actual backbones to stand up for their constituents. Shame on you!

I'm currently a Maryland resident, so I got no dog in any fight tonight, but I'm over the moon for the people of Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City. You mostly voted for reality, dammit. Hope California gets it done too.

Why, after all these decades, is it only striking me now how weird it was to have "Texas History" be a full-period all-year class in 7th grade in '81-'82? Can't imagine anything similar happening in any other state.

No telling who the next pope will be, but I strongly suggest they take the papal name Donald. Might help Vatican City a lot with those tariff negotiations.
