Today, I stood alongside thousands of researchers worldwide to rally against the growing attacks on the scientific community. Budget cuts and the spread of misinformation are creating severe obstacles to scientific discovery.

I recently had the opportunity to share my work on astrocyte population dynamics during neural circuit development. I am honored to have received the Basic Science Award, recognizing the importance of fundamental research in understanding our bodies.
