In 1944 the marginal tax rate was 94% for savings over 200k, about 2 million in today's dollars. The economy was strong, the middle class was quite well off. Let's bring back that tax, maybe even raise the bar to 500 million dollars. Would make the US a lot more revenue than costs that DOGE cut.
