I understand this…but what it’s claiming is false is that Canada already sold the bonds. That’s not what Atkinson’s post says. It simply states that Carney threatened it.

Has the post been proven false? Because if you read it closely, it does not claim that Carney et al actually sold the bonds. It simply claims that Carney put the threat on the table during the phone call.

But if you read both carefully…Atkinson’s post doesn’t claim that Carney et al sold off the bonds. It says that Carney simply put that threat on the table, putting pressure on Trump to backpedal.
