Enjoyed sitting so close to the benches last night although I did keep getting distracted from the game. That's Ramsdale in the cap and this was shortly after these 2 had been "having words" about a late decision. All friends again now.

I'm normally the type of reader who hates authors who go into too much detail - I don't need to know the shade of every blade of grass or the the sound every bird makes. This falls into that "overy descriptive" category but it's one of the best books I've read in years! So glad I gave it a go.

I think Sami is one of the most graceful players I'd ever seen. Not the quickest but his abilty to read a game meant he was always in the right place. Also, I remember the interview he gave when the armband was taken from him to give to Stevie and he was a pure professional throughout. Top player.
