Same old fuck-up, same old @, brand new profile. I've read a lot of books, but they never seem to do me much good. Hoping to one day take to live like I play. he/them
Some highlights from the Städel Museum today:
-rat party!
-a demon swapping out two 100% identical babies
-Gabriel, looking truly over the news they bring
-I don't think I've ever seen St Christopher as a cunty twink before

Increasingly alarmed by journalistd writing these articles with zero context, that serve only to platform the right. This is clearly a tactic used to make people more amenable to their more extreme views: do something in a public space that makes a purely cosmetic difference...

When I was at home at Christmas I picked up this cross stitch project that my mum and I started about 15 years ago and then forgot about. It's a tree skirt with 5 different St Nicks on it, and I'm hoping to get it done for Christmas this year (I'm very slow...)

Obsessed with all the botanical textiles used in the NT Earnest - the costumes were a real highlight

This one was shared with the simple caption "Mann", and he certainly is a little guy

It's been taking me a while to get into Qud, but the writing is really top-notch. Having a lot of fun imagining exactly what kind of baboon heretic Mumushruur was

Etrian Odyssey IV
My first Etrian Odyssey game, and I think it was really successful in making you feel like a band of intrepid explorers, mapping dungeons that no one else has been able to before. Gameplay is pleasantly crunchy without being overbearing.

La chimera (Alice Rohrwacher)
Not even the rain that fell while we watched this in the open air stopped me from enjoying this, and it felt like a true marvel. Josh O'Connor finds Etruscan tombs for a gang of grave-robbers in 1980s Italy. Beautifully shot, beautifully acted, beautifully written.

Lote, by Shola von Reinhold
Not only my favourite kind of book (extremely gay and deeply funny), but fits so organically into my other interests (the Bloomsbury Group, queer history, invented history novels) that I can't believe I didn't read it sooner.

Was going through some old notes and was reminded of Spong Man, the Platonic ideal of "a happy little guy", from the lid of an Anglo-Saxon funerary urn

Met up with Bo this weekend, and she was very keen to show off her new ball (and yes, I know I need new socks...)

Have lots of sympathy for the people who work on Sonic, but surely "Shadow is nice sometimes" is the least of your worries when it comes to what people do with your characters 😅
