I messed up on the Sophie Scarf I’m #knitting 🧶. Tried to ladder down and failed miserably so inserted a lifeline and it bloomin’ worked!!!! Not perfectly mind you but well enough I can continue 🎉🎉🎉
I’m using Malabrigo Caprino yarn which is lovely but super Splitty

👍 I got Cory as a rescue when he was 4-he was extremely malnourished and had been physically mistreated (his previous owners had been forced by a judge to give him up). It took a while to gain his trust - but he is an absolute sweetheart and loves me and my family ONLY tho he tolerates others.

Cory just had dental surgery and is completely zonked out in his pile of blankets.

Things that help me when life gets dark: My pup Corwin, hanging out on my hammock or beanbag (spent a good part of the early pandemic there) with Cory, knitting, reading listening to music, finding and memorizing quotes/poems, learning new things!

Minpins rock!!! My boy is Cory/Corwin. He’s the bestest boy- super smart, he’s definitely able to get his needs/wants across. Unfortunately the only thing Cory will kill are insects, his predecessor was a mouse killer extraordinaire!!!

Working up a quick ear warmer and trying out sequence #knitting 🧶 for the 2nd time👀😆. I cast on 21 stitches and am doing (k4,p4) - just switched from my 16 inch chiaogoo to a 24 inch cable so things are finally going faster 👍

Tonight’s dinner will be easy made favorites. First course is hard boiled quail eggs😋 dipped in thousand island dressing, next will be either quesadillas or a grilled cheese sandwhich. Dessert will be more papaya😋. I’m currently rewatching Totoro 👀👍

This is my plan!! I enjoy Loose leaf tea - English breakfast to be specific (mostly because I’m very much a noob when it comes to tea and it’s what my Dad drinks) I have 3 books teed up by my fave authors and my pup to cuddle

I am always looking for ways to strengthen little fingers. One activity that I tried (I thought would last a day or two) 8 years later and the children still love it👍 Clay (plasticine) smearing.

Okay, I’m home: other wonderful yarny activities: half circle/circle weaving( key is an uneven # of warp threads) or regular weaving on a board (children gravitate one way or the other, simple friendship bracelets

Ack!! #1 issue with sleeping in- I nearly forgot to do my daily workouts in VR using Supernatural 😍🥰🥰. I’ve never been big into exercising but Supernatural has rocked my world!! I wake up at 5am and travel (virtually) to beautiful places and swing bats (flow) at targets listening to great tunes

Almost done with this hat - it’s gift for a co- worker :). I’m planning about 12 more gifts for this year ( most of those being fingerless mittens)- some are already partly completed.- 🧶 😮💨😅 I can do this!!
