Correction, some studios are screwed. It's bigger than the film and music industry combined so I'm pretty sure it's not "screwed". Some studios are thriving and some just missed their mark and designed games for target markets that are too small. This content is off putting to newer devs.

I didn't like that they tried promoting it as historically accurate because it isn't, but once they stopped that I focused on how disrespectful it was rather than inaccurate.

You're welcome, I actually can't believe how they got this far in development. The rules are different here in Japan when using real life places and people. I won't be supporting the game.

You are joking right? People are already playing it, it's had early access events and it was leaked. Also here are some statements to help you see its disrespectful nature, just some of the issues.

It's a disrespectful heap of trash. Buggy, inaccurate, modern-day twist of Japanese culture and made by people who do not care about it. They are just making an insult at this point on purpose.

Strange, the developer said they had been working on one of them for just 1 year. Which makes sense for a studio of people making a one hour game. They send you a key too?
