This is the backup and image archive for the Instagram user svelte.sapphic.selkie

I normally accompany my photos with an extensive amount of written history, but this website doesn't allow for that.

I do not use any tags because I desire no popularity of any kind.

Enjoy the pictures.
Top-Break Cylinder Showcase

The 1917 Webley Mark VI with its monstrous .455 caliber cartridges, the 1943 Mark IV with its smaller .38 caliber cartridges, and the 1934 H&R with its diminutive .22 caliber rounds.

"Just the Retros"

While the modern armaments and polymer-framed wonder-weapons chill out in their cases, the historic side is always proudly displayed.

A fine collection deserves and equally ornate display.

Blacked-out military style grips may be the most popular, but nothing beats the beautiful factory wood grips on this particular Beretta.

Older Italian-built models like these are truly the best examples of the venerable 92 series.

"Italian Thoroughbred"

The 1990 Beretta 92FS

America's finest service pistol.

Close-up of the intact proof-marks on this particular revolver's unshaven cylinder.

This, along with it's lack of import marks, makes it exceptionally rare among most .455 caliber revolvers in the US.
