I used the units on El Cid, El libro de buen amor, and El conde Lucanor. I didn't always stick to the passages selected by the editors, but the accessible intros and the Spanish/English parallel versions proved very useful, as it was the students' first encounter with medieval texts.

I used some of them last year, and they were extremely helpful!
