Fangcha close up. I was curious to know whether the lettering on fangcha actually broke the leaves in the corners, or just bent them. Seems pretty clear the leaves just fold when they're pressed!

A first attempt at color balancing this microscope camera. It has a tendency to oversaturate reds when under dim light. Unfortunately wet tea leaves have serious glare under bright light, so I need to work around it.

This leaf should be green. It's a bit too blue, but it's a good first pass

Here is a photo of a 1980s ripe puerh leaf. Some hand-forming processes for cakes use mesh fabric to press leaves together under steam, and sometimes this leaves a physical impression of the fabric mesh directly on the leaves

You can see the impression as a repeating pattern in this image
