No. We’re SF people. He worked at Wally Heider Studio in 1969 and then rented out analog gear for the next 50 years. There were 60 recording studios in the area until computers took them down.

Both my daughters knew how to use their knees by the ago of 12. But then I’m not in the GOP. They also had a kick-ass sex-ed teacher who made it clear that if it was not pleasurable they should shut it down. Life if short.

It’s not just tariffs. The raids have destroyed normal labor pools for food. A box of lettuce in CA saw a 4 x increase last week for a restaurant. That is labor. Supply and demand.

I don’t live in SF. I live in Richmond. The poorest city in the East Bay. Reagan started this in the 70s. I talk to the unhoused. Most of them do not want to go into provided housing. It is so hard. I wish there was a clear solution. No one should live under a freeway. I know about the economics.

I live near some of the “camps” destroyed. There were drugs, human feces, garbage, aggressive dogs, etc. it came down to safety. Serving on a city planning commission, we have to balance everyone’s concern. It is really difficult. I had an employee attacked by one of the dogs. What would you do?

They don’t just pay it once. I import ingredients. I mark up and sell to a manufacturer. The manuf marks up, his customer marks up, they mark up and sell to a retailer. It’s called “business”.

My youngest lives in Brooklyn (for the past 12 yrs) and she and all her friends call him Zohran. Even the use of his first name is significant. They are thrilled. Me too.
