This article is so fucking tone-deaf it's unbelievable. The only ones who care about Biden's age are the media and Republican strategists. The reason Harris lost was because D's didn't show up to vote, and R's didn't believe Trump would follow through on tariffs. That's all there is to it.

Can you give a brief description about this creative endeavor for those of us who don't know what it is you're working on?

He's got a serious inferiority complex and wants to be popular. And the only way he can think of to do that is use his massive wealth to buy things that he perceives as popular.

I've been using OneNote for many years and it fits perfectly in that middle ground you're looking for (including nested notes). Unfortunately it doesn't work on Linux, but does for every other platform (including via the web). And of course, if you're anti-Microsoft, it's not an option.

And as I said before, if it works for you then that's great. I absolutely have seen major bugs using Mastodon, of the sort where the newsfeed just refuses to update or sometimes show anything at all. Bugs that would be ship-blockers in any other situation.

There aren't better fediverse alternatives. That's the problem.
As for people being angry at FB but not leaving, that's because there isn't a viable alternative to what FB does for many people. Things like Mastodon or Blue Sky may look kinda like FB, but they have a different feature set.

It's great if it works for you. It doesn't work for me. They've had several years since the Twitter exodus to make a viable platform and just haven't. The Mastodon platform hasn't figured out a way to become scalable and performant yet, creating a really poor user experience.

Maybe thought on why they want it, but not any thought on whether it's actually possible or the ramifications of doing it. Greenland's not for sale because Denmark doesn't "own" it. And adding tariffs to Denmark wouldn't do anything other than making it more expensive for Americans to buy LEGOs.

Looks a bit too much like cybertruck aesthetics for my taste.

FYI, the Start Menu replacement I use for Win11 (Start11 by Stardock) just announced that their latest version includes vertical taskbar capability. Might be worth checking out.
