Zero charge there will be anything resembling military confrontation between Europe/Canada and US over Greenland. We'll get a lot of meetings and negotiations.

Nasferatu is correct about the last part. If the US is going to take over Greenland using some BS premise, the strongest response from Europe will be strongly worded letters. Not expecting sanctions, let alone anything that involves the military. Will get an urgent UN assembly.
