I live in Japan. I've been seeing ads for these boys for years. Love their desgns but don't play gachas, so i was stoked for an anime..
then I watched the first episode. Very bored, and don't know who anyone is.
I hope it's fun for yall who already know the characters, though.

It was a bit tropey, and I was having trouble enjoying the fluffy shoujo-ness with the background of piles of racism, and then it got way too horny for me at the end.

So I'm out, but I'm ace and not a furry. *shrugs*

An anime taking the annoying trend of 'high school romance where the most boring guy alive is dating the bestest girl' and pushing it to the limits by being so slow I could follow the conversations without subs at 2x speed.

Love a first episode that also works as a complete story, had a fun time. I don't understand how it can go from there, but it gave me enough faith in the first episode to be excited to see where it goes.

not impressed with certain camera angles they chose for SQ though...
A large cast of anime characters, in wild and extravagant scifi costumes in bright colours. Most look human but there are a couple who don't. There's a spaceship behind them all, and then a purpleish background with broken glass flying around. in my opinion it's a mess and I dont' want to look at it because there is way too much happening.

Hilarious mess of a plot, in a good way. It's not getting much support from the animation, but I think the more it leans into what it's set up, the more fun it'll be. Hopeful.

I want to like this - I feel like it has a lot more emotional intelligence and point of view than we get in a lot of highschool romance anime.
But I'm still a CG hater and an anime about dance relying on CG animation for the dance is a huge turn off for me. It robs the dancing of its power

This anime really, really wants you to understand two things
a) ninjas and gokudou are fighting
and
b) the main character can't smile

To accomplish this, it will tell you this 12 times. I prefer anime that respect my ability to think.

I watched 7 minutes of this FIFTY MINUTE EPISODE and had to stop because apparently 2 minutes of navel gazing poetry and 5 minutes of character introductions is my limit regardless of how nicely animated the nothing is.
A group of 6 highschool kids pose fo the camera, possibly on the school roof. One is a standard looking guy. The rest are girls. The two blonds are energetic, one making a finger heart, and one giving a victory V while holding a basketball under her arm. The dark haired girls are more demure, just smiling calmly. In the background there's a girl with short whiteish hair and a blank expression. There's a blue sky with just a whisp of cloud, blocked slightly by a power cable tower.

My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s

i mean, if you're gunna have a levels-and-status-screen isekai, animate the fuck out of it, have some political stuff, build a sense of dread w/out being 'edgy', and have my favourite voice actor do a bunch of the lore dumping. fuck it, I'm in.

I came into this with dread cuz I dont trust media/anime with certain topics, but I was pleasantly surprised. The comedy isn't funny unless the idea of a certain kind of woman being confident is funny, but it sets off the drama SO WELL.

I found this really teetering on the edge of annoying more than funny, with some bad music choices and mid animation. buuuut it seems like GL so I'll give it a chance anyways.

OK, yes it's an isekai. But the problems they're facing so far are not things solvable by their cheat skills. with a notable exception, the characters are not just tropes. good start

perfectly serviceable comedy set up, pulled down by being barely animated. Not the first time an anime hasn't worked for me because the comedy is too 'talky', but comedy is the most ymmv genre.
The poster is nearly entirely white. The bottom half of the poster is the top half of a girl's face. She has blue eyes, white hair, and a black and blue cylindrical device sticking out of either side of her head. At the top is the name of the anime in Japanese. Part of the kanji for family has been stylized to look like 3 figures inside a house.

proof that a set up can be both deeply stupid as well as fun and engaging. definitely a fun first episode. I don't mind basic animation if I'm entertained.

oh dear. this is my kind of stupid. Just operating at 100% the whole time, with fun character designs and good animation for the fighting (and the dancing)
I'm stunned.

There;s a stage, amps and instruments behind them. They're arranged around a large puddle, showing their reflections. Expected it be more childish going in, pleasantly surprised it wasn't. Gotta grow up with your audience, yknow? That said, this episode was just well executed set up so we'll have to see where it goes.

trash anime that seems to think 'quick talking' is funny, but it's just exhausting.
There are SO MANY better anime you can watch to see tits, honestly.

If you like tokusatsu, cringe comedy and don't mind highly objectified women, this seems great.
That does not describe me though so I'll leave y'all to it.

I was not sold at first, but the second half of the ep pulled me back in. I have good questions and confidence that answers are coming. The fact that they do seem to be trying to make it a tourism anime despite the apocalypse is very funny to me.

Entirely too many characters. Appears to be entirely women surrounding one bland-looking guy, as is trash isekai/ICBINI tradition. The background is just black with falling glowing rectangles (maybe, MAYBE meant to represent gacha cards if I'm being generous). There's a woman in golden armor, a maid showing a bunch of cleavage, a knight, a catgirl (but the ears and paws seem to be from her outfit) and a mage. Only the maid's outfit is egregious. Bland guy has a stave instead of a sword though so I guess that's different.

A well done set-up episode, but it's nearly entirely set up. I am a sucker for anime where Ayakashi are a normal, integrated part of society; less of a fan of the traditional samurai hairstyle though...
Two men in traditional clothes and samurai hair styles have opened the sliding doors and are gesturing welcomingly to us. I only made it through the first set up.
