Official Pixel Watch bands on the Google Store, being viewed on a Pixel phone with 11% battery inside a Firefox private window. The Pixel Watch Performance Loop Band (£59), the Pixel Watch Active Sport Band (£49), the Pixel Watch Woven Band (£59) and the Pixel Watch Stretch Band (£59) are all visible in this Accessories section. A Raspberry Pi Zero 2 WH (as sold by Pimoroni with pre-soldered headers) with its bottom four GPIO pins pretty hideously bent back, with the very bottom pair being seemingly beyond a 45° angle. Seen blurred behind is the back of a Pimoroni Pico Display Pack (Pico Display 2.8″), its USB port provision oriented towards the camera, from which the Pico appears to have been taken. Also partially visible in a blurred manner in the background, atop the same LTT deskpad on a white IKEA desk, is a Pimoroni Pico Breakout Garden Pack, some headers, and the end of a Pimoroni Pico Decker. The red pull tab remains visible on the Pico Display, which faces down, implying that the protective film covering the display has yet to be removed.

eyy new pimoroni order is in!!!
My Pimoroni order of an active buzzer (though a passive one seems to have been sent out?), a 150mAh LiPo battery pack, a Pimoroni Pico Decker, a LiPo SHIM for Pico, a Pico Breakout Garden Pack, and an Adafruit OV5640 Camera Breakout (featuring a 120 degree lens). These items are with their accompanying set of headers, and eight little round adhesive feet to be stuck to the bottoms of things. These items are arranged somewhat neatly, though perhaps somewhat askew, on my LTT deskpad, which also features, to the right, an unofficial Oculus mug, holding some chai latte I'm about to try. To the right of my order, pretty much next to it on the deskpad, is a Pico Jumbo I got for free with the order, facing upwards, correctly oriented such that its USB port is to the top.

A search with Google Search, with the query 'can a Just Say No counter a Just Say No', relating to the 'Just Say No' card as appears in the game Monopoly. Results seem to suggest that yes, a Just Say No card can indeed counter a Just Say No card. In practice, this would presumably undo the effects of the prior Just Say No card, if the latter is used to counteract the former.

My new VSCodium setup on my Ubuntu 25.04 installation on my laptop, shown in a full-screen window in dark theme. Pinned to the Panel mode Ubuntu Dock is GNOME's file manager, Alacritty, Firefox, Chromium, VSCodium, Settings, Trayscale (effectively a GUI frontend for Tailscale), ProtonVPN and Vesktop, all with their Papirus icons. Hidden from my VSCodium window are the Menu Bar, the Command Centre, Layout Controls and various other such UI elements I find little to no use for. I may hail the Menu Bar's functionality still (e.g. 'File', 'Edit') with a menu to the top of my left 'Activity Bar'. Vesktop and a clown icon (for the GNOME extension 'Clown') are visible in the system tray, alongside indicators for Wi-Fi, sound (which is muted), and a battery around half full or so.

No content is enabled on the New tab page, only this logo, a Bing search bar and an icon to 'Add [a] shortcut' is visible, with a settings cog to the top right corner.

this is the first time i've seen the real fruits of this abysmally prepared Act.
Giffgaff (giffgaff.com, my cellular provider) displaying a page (www.giffgaff.com/mobile/over18) stating: 'Sorry, that site's for over-18s only' 'You can remove the adult content bar by clicking below. You'll just need to provide either your driving license number or passport to prove that you are over 18.'. A yellow button below reads 'Allow adult content', while a white one to the left of that button reads 'No, thanks'. This is presumably being stated in compliance with the Online Safety Act 2023, after its 25th of July 2025 date, as of which 'platforms have a legal duty to protect children online' (www.gov.uk). The laptop on which this appears seems to be running some Linux distribution or something similar, for it seems to feature a lightly configured 'Dash to Dock', a GNOME Shell extension. Firefox is being used to display and interact with this Giffgaff webpage, which is visible with all of its typical elements.

'28 July 2025 US President Donald Trump has presented a new, shorter deadline for Russia to agree to a ceasefire over the war in Ukraine of "ten or 12 days" from Monday.
