dissecting one is like doing archaeology but the museum is an owl’s stomach. 😅 6/8

the outside feels kinda soft and fuzzy. the inside is crunchy. you’ll never forget the sound it makes when you crack one open. 5/8

every pellet is a little mystery. who did the owl eat? how many? why is this jawbone so cute? 4/8

inside? TINY. BONES. like, whole mouse skulls. ribs as thin as eyelashes. it’s like nature’s weirdest lego set. 3/8

the stuff they can’t digest? they cough it back up in these lumpy gray furballs called pellets. gross, but awesome. 2/8
