I don't know what it is about social media advertising books with hot guys on the cover, which is fine. However, when I go to see what kind of book it is, 50/50 chance is either a straight book or if I am really lucky, a m/m book by an author I didn't know about.

Saw an advertisement for a book called Queer Slashers (Icons of Horror) by Peter Marra where it examines the connection between Horror films and the queer audience. This might give insight to the fan artists who draw "hot" versions of Horror icons.

Been reading the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris from the beginning. I had picked up the books when True Blood was airing but never finished the books or the show.

Started "The First Ladies" by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray. I was curious about Mary McLeod Bethune since I saw her in "The Six Triple Eight"

Been reading "The Crown Breaker" by T. B. Wiese needed a good mm fantasy lately.
