Yea, same here. I saw clips of him here and there and thought he was chill. Then the other stuff happened, and you learn the dude has a massive ego that is super frail. Because he worked at Blizzard, he thinks he is the authority on anything gaming or programming.

Yea, that is what I think it is. He also tried to defend Twitch and say there was no adpocolypse when the Dan situation was going on. So the dude is overall a corpo shill.

The dude is also responsible for trying to tank a movement that was trying to preserve old video games and not let studios shut down servers if the game is still active. So I think people are also using the current situation to bring up just how much a douche he is.

The game is amazing! Felt the same way at first, thinking it was just some variant of Persona and Shin. But it stands on its own just fine with its characters and story.
