I honestly don’t think micro transactions are inherently bad they’re just done in a super predatory way. You can make a good free to play game that’s funded off of micro transactions that aren’t pay to win, but now it’s like $20 for some minor cosmetic changes

They’re just like the switch cartridge but with a secondary AI enhanced flavour to go alongside it

All the leaks were fake and calculated by Nintendo to undersell the console, the switch 2 is actually not gonna be a switch and will instead be a standalone console

Interesting to see, seeing how the switch 2 will definitely have an older architecture GPU chip. Better DLSS for the switch 2 could be a massive boost for it, good timing too

It’s absurd when people complain about accessibility settings coz like… just don’t turn it on if you don’t want it. I don’t get why people are opposed to it in general. Honestly you could add a setting to enable cheats and no one would care but you add an accessibility setting and people go mad

Furthering on what someone else said, locked cameras, and generally reduced mechanics are the best bet, the less focus on other things to do the more they can focus on just face button controls

Honestly hoping no fast travel doesn’t become the norm, coz with the trend of just adding endless amounts of random fetch quests to pad out the game, I don’t want to have to actually trek the entire map just to add 1.5 hours to my gameplay for no story benefit

Yeah it’s crazy good value, glad you got a nice deal! Enjoy your games. Nvidia features are great but tbh rn AMD is catching up, doubt they’ll be equal but they’re not bad now

Don’t let people shit talk buying an AMD card, for anything other than top end they are just better fps/dollar. There is an argument to be made for RT, DLSS, and program specific things, but the vram and price are hard to beat from AMD

DS is easily my nostalgia pick, but to be fair, imo 8 deluxe is just the best game, super hard to compete with the track list including DLC, custom item rules is also a nice plus

I’d MUCH rather play a polished 2 hour experience in a game than play a polished 2 hour experience that’s padded out with fetch quests and random things to make the story 8-10 hours

Oh 100%. Definitely depends on the person but the easiest conversation starter is to walk up to someone smoking and ask to use their lighter. A lot of people struggle without that alone, let alone leaving a wider community. Really is a difficult thing
