I usually explain the Catholics aren't worshipping saints, it's just that God is busy and we're trying not to bother him. It's like call center escalation. This is a tier 1 patron saint issue, not a direct to Jesus issue.

I celebrated a birthday at a resort once as a child. They made me stand on a chair and had the entire restaurant sing to me. It was 30 years ago and I vividly remember it.

Someone got out of a carriage recently and there was a huge visible zipper and I was so mad they didn't just use the other foot. I watch this show religiously, but I am not not gonna hate on it a little bit.

Extra confusing that although Brooklyn and Quuens are part of NYC, they're located on Long Island which is not. And Staten Island stands alone.

I stayed at a resort once that had these awful hard plastic chairs with cutouts on the side. They were worse than metal chairs with armrests and they were everywhere.
