As long as you find the skills and strength to dig yourself out each time, you can find ways to make each time a little bit easier. Good luck, we're rooting for you.

Man, fix your fuckin goalposts. If you feel the kind of pressure that destroys your mental health this badly, then need to re-evaluate what's really important to you. It's your life, you get to define all of this. Which, yes, is a lot, but it's worth the trouble.

Your mom may have made you, but its YOUR life. You get to choose what to do with it. Fucking up is part of it, it's what you learn and do differently next time that matters. Even if that takes a long ass time, time is all we've got anyway.

You cover such an important and overlooked part of the mind, it's raw, and necessary work. Nobody could get onto paper the themes and messages you do.

I can't wait to go rogue/fishing holy shit

Second ing this, and you should set up a commissions tab on your website in case you need or want to open some! Alternatively/Additionally, you could set up a lil discord with and announcement when you open comms.

That dog is in full goofball mode, that expression is just perfect!

Oh my goodness, I didn't know how much the world needed mae in your style until now. You gotta draw some maebae!!!
October 20, 2025 at 12:26 AM
Oh MAN I'm so glad you drew these two. Any MaeBae makes it a good day

A necessary detachment, for art that studies, explores, and expresses these dissociated themes. I think the strength in your art lies in its ability to communicate such abstract feelings with power and speed. As a viewer, I am quickly enthralled and in accord with most of your art within seconds.

Take a break or something, don't discredit yourself by just up and giving up

Yeah, like big life decision stuff. Which path to take, what passion to pursue, that sort of thing.

How do I figure out what's important to me? I can't seem to do so intuitively.

Tons of rain and hail at the fruit stand today, but it made the day go by fast so I can't complain :]

Currently planning out a leather camera strap for a friend, they're printing out their own roller with a design for me to tool the leather with which will be pretty sick to do

You intentionally push yourself out of any comfortable spots, very interesting!

You may find some inspiration listening to Fox Stevenson, if you like punk and are down for electronic. Maybe even some Kae Tempest, they have some potent lyrics as well. I hope the right music keeps finding you!

Your work is just so captivating, it takes physical effort to look away. Thank you for putting what I can only guess is everything you have into it.

My question is, do you have a favorite snack or drink to have while you work on your pieces? Or maybe a favorite kind of music?

I had the same issue with Dave. Once I had to manage two stores AND a farm, I started zoning out. Wayy too much going on.

Doloc is still in early access, so it's worth sitting on if you have other stuff to check out first 💜

Core Keeper is too heavy on the adventure to be called cozy, but might be of interest as well.

Potion Craft and Trash Goblin were fun, with their own vibes. TG could be a bit saccharine.

Citizen Sleeper might be up your alley?

That's all I can think of, good luck!

I played Doloc Town a few months ago. Kind of a sidescroller stardew deal, not too saccharine.

Terra Nil is heavy on the solar punk optimism, not sure if I'd call it saccharine, though.

Dave the Diver or maybe Dredge might fit the bill.

Apico was a hidden gem, saccharine but minimal hand holding.

Depends on the artform. Videogames seem to get a lot of use out of iterating on mechanics, but if you're a music artist, you don't really wanna hear what other artists you sound like - because it has more of a poisoning effect on the creative process. Generally, comparison IS the thief of joy.

If you're stuck on needing to improve, then find a way to challenge yourself and fight off that imposter syndrome bs! Try a new brush, pose, or even medium. Maybe even make some wacky abstract stuff out of scrap metal, anything to get you doing something you've never done before!
