adding also that if someone is getting all uppity about what is and isn't canon, they can't limit that to just the Bethesda games. Fallout is a setting imo, not a linear narrative, and has always had loose ends and stories that could end in any number of ways

hard agree, when outside of an online encounter, this should be standard. regarding difficulty sliders, yes from an accessibility standpoint. I get that the idea is triumph through hardship, I love that, but why block people from that feeling? nothing stopping you from just not adjusting the slider.

I've had this done for me a couple of times and honestly it is the sweetest and most beautiful gift to receive from someone it still makes me giddy
