I saw the whole of the Moon!

Luke Jerram's artwork "Museum of the Moon" is currently on display at Harwell Science Campus in Oxfordshire.

Photograph of Luke Jerram’s artwork ‘Museum of the Moon’. Measuring seven metres in diameter, the moon features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon’s surface. The photo was taken while the piece was on display at Harwell Science Campus in Oxfordshire, UK. Although the lower half of the Moon is against a black background, the joists of the ceiling are visible in the top half of the image.

A photograph taken on the International Space Station. Astronaut Kate Rubins is on the left, floating next to a complicated and colourful contraption. It has two rectangular reservoirs, one above the other, both filled with a red-orange liquid. They are connected via clear plastic tubes filled with the same liquid. Two felt-like ovals are 'growing' out of each reservoir, as fake plants. To one side there's a large syringe for injecting more coloured water, and everything is connected to a control box at the bottom, which I think is a pump.
