Putin hater since before it was cool, passionate about #osint and trying to be active about it, also software, drones & pasta.
And we actually have those signs and times coincide perfectly, (tweet was sent at 5am gmt) so a direct strike from the eastern route seems now plausible

There is precedent, the longest B2 mission lasted 44 hours and it was a direct strike on afghanistan , they took that route

More like 23000 kms, and refueling woulnd't take away much time as it would be planned around the very specific mission and the refill will happen along the same path of the planes (so just a minor slow down)

Major overhaul for my www.globalnewsdeck.com project. Lots of new features, fixes and improvements among which new AI assisted hourly reports both in textual and audio formats, multiple panels support with a lot of customization options and a new look.
For news junkies from a news junkie :)

LLMs have made immense progress in the last months especially for very basic coding, but then... every time i try to use them a little more seriously i end up in this type of situation. (GEMINI 2.5 Pro Preview 05-05)
Still impressed but they are very fast dumb interns at the moment.

Celebrating the Soviets for helping defeat the nazis is like celebrating Saddam for also building a hospital.

Just been working in the last few days on a situation based version of the automated hourly news catchup i'm testing on @globalnewsdeckhour.bsky.social
Still some work to be done before it can go live but I'm close
(here an India - Pakistan specific version from last hour)

OH absolutely, i'm constantly toying with it and keeping up with all the news about it, totally fascinated and fascinating. For trivial coding tasks and in general whatever has been discussed on stack exchange it is already impressive, but at times... It just turns dumb like a rock.

Not going to go into the details of this other completely different technique, the thread wanted to be about using cloud base data.
If anything I now know NOT TO TRUST certain types of data sources from an active war zone...
Love when little and "fast" investigations escalate :)
