I love that everyone has responded with cats. Here is Otto:

But he doesn’t support the defunding of ICE. Curious. Does he think this Gestapo is going to be reformed?

Privileged white woman maintains facade of arrogance while unable to refute anything specifically. I hope the little bit of dopamine you get by responding here is worth price of your purposeful ignorance. Back to bootlicking, for you!

Privileged white woman maintains the privilege of willful ignorance. The privilege of refusing to acknowledge real problems in our own party. The privilege of burying your head in the dirt when confronted with documented facts that make you uncomfortable. Sure, Jan.

(Eye roll) Why have actual standards and support bold initiatives when the status quo has kept you comfortably in the privileged class? Voting records and lobbyist donations are a matter of public record FYI. As a supporter of the overturning of CU, this should be obvious to you. Impact over optics.

“Every human rights org and genocide scholar in the world is lying, and Ben Gvir and Smotrich don’t really mean it when they say they want to kill every Arab.” “I’m sure it’s just a funny coincidence that every Dem senator voted to confirm Marco Rubio.”
January 11, 2026 at 5:54 PM
The Dems we have are not an opposition party and if we’re continuing to vote for friends of horrific war criminals like Cheney and Kissinger, then we’re basically stuck here forever. Fascism takes over and we vote for the people silently enabling it while pretending otherwise.
January 11, 2026 at 5:38 PM
If you’re calling well-documented facts “global conspiracy theories” and glossing over the elimination of an entire group of people, you’re either a bot, or willfully ignorant. Things don’t matter when they don’t affect you personally, huh? You can write off any reality that makes you uncomfortable.

Business leaders and lobbyists from domestic monopolies and certain foreign governments do not simply give politicians large sums of money because they like them. They expect a return on their investments. Follow the money.

What’s the point of voting to “express gratitude” for ICE (the gestapo)? What’s the point of voting in favor of Trump cabinet picks (fascists)? What’s the point of pretending you care about the working class when you accept corporate bribes? What’s the point of supporting a genocidal ethnostate?
January 11, 2026 at 8:53 AM
What’s the point of being the “good guys” if you’re only the good guys when it looks good?
January 10, 2026 at 8:47 PM
It is if they’re compromised. The hypocrisy is the point.

Republicans are largely pro-fascism, with a few exceptions
January 10, 2026 at 6:08 PM
Fair, I stand corrected. They don’t want to be outspent on campaign finance. But while folks like Adam Schiff sign onto this (which I agree is a good move) they also are accepting close to millions from powerful lobbyists. Many dems do, and that compromises their interests and actions otherwise.
January 10, 2026 at 6:07 PM
In addition to a bad platform, remember Musk bragged about his own election interference, and Trump also bragged about this. And still no articles of impeachment. And dems still vote to confirm Trump cabinet picks. And Harris campaigned with war criminal, Dick Cheney. They obviously wanted to lose.
January 10, 2026 at 5:55 PM
Why was the dem platform so similar to the republican platform? Pro-genocide, pro-mass deportation, pro-military spending increases. Anti-Medicare-for-all, policies that give the working class breadcrumbs but don’t bother to make significant change. Zero positions with any audacity.

It’s consistently left-leaning democrats introducing those bills, who are not the majority of democrats, which is why these bills never gain traction. If the party was united in this cause, we would have seen progress of any kind at this point.

Would be great if removal from office had been on the table for any number of atrocities committed since January of last year. Would be great if congress gave a shit. Would be great if we weren’t the evil empire.

Coming unprepared to answer questions or provide information is a fun one.
