It's been a while since I last posted by art. This is fanart for an NPC character from Uprooted! I posted this in the @avantris.bsky.social discord, and I forgot I had this account. Her name is Roxy, and I made her as a Venture Bros. Reference, along with her husband! #uprooted #venturebros
Roxy the Fox, monochrome since she's a gray anthropomorphic fox woman, posed very much like Shiela "Dr. Mrs. The Monarch" Fitzcarraldo's official art as reference and inspiration Roxy the Fox with her husband, Reynaldo the Fox as they sit on their loveseat after Roxy's busy day. Reynaldo, very much like The Monarch, doesn't like when his wife smokes but he's sitting there understandingly because he knows how harsh it is to work at a rundown diner filled with perverts. Monochromatic colored because I didn't have an orange colored pencil to color in Reynaldo. They're very much a reference to Sheila "Dr. Mrs. The Monarch" Fitzcaralldo and Malcom "The Mighty Monarch" Fitzcarraldo from The Venture Bros.

I've been making vent edits for weirdcore and dreamcore because I was going through the unresolved feelings of my dad forgetting who I am
A heavily edited spot next to the entryway with the dialogue between my dad and myself in a bad dream. The dialogue is blurred in viginette and a radial blur with the only legible word being, "But... I am home, dad..." Dialogue: Green: "It was good meeting you, but its time for you to go home." Orange: "But... I am home, dad..." Green: "What? [Sister's name], do you know who she is? Orange: "Dad, it's me.. I'm [Yupik name]..." Green: "... you need to go home." Orange: "Dad. I am home! [Sister], tell him I'm [Yupik name]!" A picture of a village store with heavily edited items vaguely resembling chip bags, with the viewer looking at a bulge in the ceiling (realistically caused by a water leakage), meant to resemble a strange dream with a plot that doesn't make sense. Dialogue in orange: this item has worms instead of beetles... i really wanted beetles Heavily edited image of what looks like a village home with the viewer sitting at a table. The viewer is struggling to remember if they're home, with their subconscious trying to tell them that they are home. The image is also edited in a viginette with a radial blur while the viewer is struggling to remember. Dialogue: Green: i should go home Orange: where is my home? (With the small text behind home repetitively saying "please remember" behind the word "home?") Blue in what looks like a warped shadow (it's hard to read legibly due to the overly edited image): but I am home... Highlited Blue: this looks like home but no one is here Blurred highlighted Blue: the tea is made but there's something growing in it Heavily edited image of the viewer sitting on the floor trying to reassure themselves that they're not forgotten. There's a slight viginette and a soft blur closer to the bottom while the viewer is trying to reassure themselves. Dialogue: Handwritten Blue: They are waiting I promise (with a handwritten opaque writing that says "I'm lying" and an arrow pointing out the doorway) Blue: When do you think they will remember you? (With the word "remember" having the word "forget" obscure it, but the word is hard to see while "remember" is easier to read)
