Trying to be a decent human being is all. Calling out injustice as and where I see it, with no motive but humanity and (by extension) a fair and democratic society. (My name reflects a favorite pair of faded orange bell bottoms I owned in the early 1970s.)
There’s no sponsor listed. Who is running it and collecting the donations? Who are you that we should trust you? Sorry, but if I’m going to donate a good chunk of money, I need more assurance.

They don’t have 2-party systems. One party can’t change the whole system unless they have a clear and unequivocal mandate. In short, a Revolution.

Can you just, like... "these aren't the droids you're looking for"? Just a quick little hand wave? It's not like they're particularly strong-minded.

There’s still time to call senators. Let me explain. Sorry not sorry about the cat. He’s also really upset about this deal.

Not just ANY ballroom. A GOLDEN one that eclipses the remaining 2/3 of the White House that’s left. That’s the disparity we are facing. No food for some. Food on golden platters for others.

Why don’t YOU do it then? Until money is OUT of politics, they have to fundraise. WE are the people, and WE can get the word out to every community. Come on, folks! Use the damn social media and help the cause instead of complaining!!!!

They’re cutting off food assistance for the poor until you agree to them cutting healthcare assistance for the poor. If you have the means, give to your local food pantry now. ✊✊✊

And I’d like to tell the Chaplain that the democratic lawmakers are not in it for gold medals. They’re in it for the people, and this is a game of chicken with healthcare for the low income at stake.

My nephew in Florida could not afford insurance because he’s an outside sales, direct employee on commission. His employer has been screwing him for months until whole kitchens get installed. He had to argue for gas money and was lucky Medicaid accepted him. Relatives had to support him.

And that’s not counting all the money already lost over the years because it’s too hard for half the population to figure out and discipline themselves to following through. Has anyone added THAT up??? It’s a scheme.

I just have to say it’s insane to expect average folks to jump through hoops with medical expense predictions, organization, and proof in paperwork just to get a lousy $2k off our incomes for an HSA or FSA. It’s total BS!!! People who need it most are least likely to figure it out!
