And they’ll keep Lions offense to 17 points next week (not that that’s saying much).
November 3, 2025 at 2:47 AM
ESPN fucking hates the Lions d-line lol
October 28, 2025 at 8:29 PM
Does it give you any pause that his longest completion of the night should have been a pick?

Let National Glaze Jordan Love Week begin!

Looks like it went glove wall glove. I was really confused too.

It feels like breakdowns are free pub for the NFL. Don’t they want people talking about their product?

It’s not like you can skip a game and just watch breakdowns and get the full experience. People still want to watch live!

He’ll get his mojo back on Sunday almost certainly. Detroit’s secondary are kingmakers.

Trump is a fascist = the house is on fire, we should do something about it

We live in a fascist state = the house is burned down; it’s over.

We wouldn’t feel safe to have this debate in a public forum and beer true fascism.
September 27, 2025 at 9:41 PM
I’m not sure we don’t see it happening. I versions of this pretty often:

Trump: *does a thing*

A: That’s illegal!

B: It’s not like it matters! Trump doesn’t care about the law and SCOTUS won’t hold him accountable!

One talks this way if we already live under fascism.
September 27, 2025 at 9:39 PM
But Tom even said “Trump’s speeches are fascist.” That is his objective. It it’s not accurate to say that we live in a fascist country.
September 27, 2025 at 9:36 PM
Like yes obviously Trump is in the process of using the justice apparatus to target political opponents. Clearly authoritarian. But we can still speak about it and exert pressure on the system. We should act like it, and not like where we’re already past that point.
September 27, 2025 at 1:04 PM
Sure, but in this metaphor “we now live under fascism” = the house has already burned down and no firefighting methods are of any use. For us this means (essentially) defeat and the end of the tools of democracy. Tom’s point is that we still have access to those tools.
September 27, 2025 at 1:02 PM
But I think Tom’s point is that people are saying the house has burned down while there’s a fire in the kitchen and we can still save the house.
September 27, 2025 at 12:24 PM
People are big mad bc you’ve picked against the Lions in a few high profile games we ended up winning. But you never don’t give credit where it’s due. People just want to be mad imo.
September 24, 2025 at 3:00 AM
It’s going on three years now but I still haven’t gotten used to the fact that national writers occasionally say positive things about the Lions. Super weird.
September 20, 2025 at 5:13 PM
Surely this can’t be real.
September 19, 2025 at 10:41 AM
That thing? Being racist.
September 13, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Better than any Jared Goff throw on Sunday (I’m a lions fan)
September 8, 2025 at 3:58 PM
Yeah they were unbelievably terrible. The ride may be over for this generation of the Detroit Lions.
September 7, 2025 at 11:37 PM
Yeah they were terrible in every facet of the game.

Only question is whether this is the new norm or whether they can improve from here.

If we get roasted by CHI next week then we may very well know the answer.
September 7, 2025 at 11:35 PM
Getting out coached and out played in every aspect of the game. Lions look like a JV team out there.
